The Genesis of Occult story is a series revolving around a young hunter by the name of Florence Stainton during the 1870s in London, England. The series revolves around him, and his journey from a high class citizen to a nameless hero. In this series, Florence also creates the Occult Record, a journal full of useful information which is found by Dean Winchester nearly two centuries later, and begins the story.
The series features not only Florence, but many creatures which have not been seen in Supernatural before. Several species included in this series are based off of English, Scottish, Irish and Welsh mythical beasts and legends. Being a spinoff, and series which takes place during a different timeline - many canon characters from Supernatural do not make an appearance in Genesis of Occult.

Main Plot[]
Dean Winchester manages to find a book which belonged to a man named Florence Stainton and Will Winchester, called the Occult Record. He begins to read the book, finding out that it was the former study journal and diary of the former hunters.
A majority of Genesis of Occult focuses on Florence's Stainton, a man from London, England who worked as a hunter - despite being an aristocrat, something he faced much discrimination for.

- Florence Stainton
- The protagonist of the story, the 27 year old heir to the Abbey of Stainton - a very small, and not overly popular Abbey in southern London. A soft spoken and generous young man, Florence is named the “Angel of the Abbey” for his Saintly behaviour, as opposed to his parents. When havoc strikes the Abbey, before spreading to London as a whole - Florence has to teach himself how to be a hunter and take the job of a lowerclassman. (faceclaim yet to be descided)
- William "Will" Winchester
- A direct ancestor of John Winchester, Will was a relatively popular hunter from the new state of Kansas - a Virginian born, farmboy. He was asked to come to London by the Queen at age 29, and privately works on keeping the streets of London safe from the "monsters". He meets Florence, and becomes one of his closest friends.
